What is Emotion Coaching?
As an emotion coach, breakthrough facilitator, and alignment practitioner, I can help you identify your emotions and what you’re feeling in the present moment. I can assist you in aligning with your higher frequency emotions, which are joy, appreciation, empowerment, freedom, love, passion, enthusiasm, eagerness, happiness, positive expectation, belief, optimism, hopefulness, and contentment.
I am of the belief that when we feel good, we do good. Sometimes we may feel stuck in one or more areas of our lives, because we are not allowing our emotions to flow freely. Many people pack and stack and ignore their feelings, so feeling one’s feelings fully is foreign to most, which is why we tend to experience frequent negative emotions and why we go up and down so much emotionally.
Having good emotional health has to do with our ability to identify with what we’re feeling and be able to express our emotions in healthy ways. Emotionally healthy people are not necessarily positive all the time; instead, they understand how to express and deal with lower vibrational emotions in ways that allow them to feel better without ruining their overall well-being.
The more we ignore or distract ourselves from our emotions though, the worse we will feel. When we fail to process our feelings, they will make themselves known in other ways. They manifest as general anxiety, health problems, mood disorders, despair, and different adverse outcomes that can affect our mental and physical health over time.
Being aware of and understanding our emotions and letting them flow through us can allow us to overcome any negative emotions we may have and be able to achieve genuine happiness. Emotional wellness requires us to accept and honor our feelings, and acceptance can lead to understanding, greater insight into ourselves and our lives, and the ability to make better decisions. By expressing our emotions in healthy ways leads to stronger relationships and feeling closer to other people.
By ignoring the negative parts of our emotional health, we endanger the positive aspects too. When we avoid some emotions, we create barriers that lessen all of our feelings, including the positive ones. So, trying to feel less pain also translates into feeling less joy. When we allow ourselves to feel sadness or pain, we open ourselves up to feeling real happiness as well. To be human is to accept that all these emotions are part of who we are and are necessary for our growth.
We will never be able to avoid our feelings successfully. They will build up and find a way to release and be heard, and this could include emotional outbursts and negative influences on our health. The more we resist and struggle, the worse we will feel and the longer our pain will last. If we allow ourselves to experience these emotions and learn to process them effectively, our hurt will be brief and productive, rather than long and pointless.
